These statistics apply the regional division of 1 January 2020 to the whole time series. Data for merged municipalities have been combined.
Information
Natural increase
Natural increase, or excess of births is the difference between the number of live births and deaths. If the number of live births is lower than that of deaths, natural population increase is negative.
Intermunicipal in-migration
Intermunicipal migration has been changed to correspond to the regional division of 1 January 2020, that is, migration between united municipalities has been transferred to intramunicipal migration.

Net migration

Total net migration
Total net migration is the sum of net migration and intermunicipal net migration.
